While earning my BFA, I had the opportunity to work alongside several of my professors in teaching some of the core graphic design classes. Experiencing the learning process from the other side of the equation deepened my understanding of design principles and improved my abilities for facilitation, active listening, and collaboration. I’ve also co-taught Adobe InDesign workshops that gave me the chance to improve my technical knowledge and practice my presentation skills. I look forward to more teaching-related possibilities in the future and potentially going to graduate school for my Masters so I can teach in the design field.
